The calm after the sun

Last week has been scorching hot, we had the dreaded heatwave. But it had cooled down by Friday and the last few days have been far more bearable. With any luck, this is the last blast of heat we will have until next summer. I am not saying that summer is gone, of course not, but touch wood, it will be bearable for the next few weeks. One can hope. In any case, we survived the tropical temperatures of last week.
