Frozen wolf's head

This is a bit of news that got me really excited for some reason: they found the frozen head of an extinct wolf in Siberia. More details about it here. It is about 40,000 years old. An ancient, prehistoric, wolf's head. Practically a monster wolf. How cool is that? I love wolves, real ones, legendary ones, or, in this instance, cousins or ancestors of our modern wolves. So the more we learn about them and their history, the better. And have a look at the head itself, with the shaggy hairs and the sharp teeth. We are not certain yet if it was bigger than our modern wolves, but this truly was a monstrous head. In any case, it's just cool news and will hopefully shed some lights on one of my favourite animals.
