Waiting for the storm
We are back from a weekend break to visit my wife's uncle, who was celebrating his birthday, and her family on her mother's side. More on that in another post, maybe, but anyway we spent the night at a hotel. We were told that there was a weather warning for today, with violent winds and a storm coming, for 3:00PM, so in about 30 minutes. It certainly looked ominous on the English countryside, with dark clouds gathered and looking about to burst, and the wind had started blowing, but not violently so. We got home safe and sound and mostly dry. I love storms, especially when I can appreciate them from the comfort of my home. So I am now patiently and eagerly waiting for the storm. And on a side note, the English countryside looks beautiful when a storm is about to break.
how exciting! i am waiting for a snow storm which should arrive in a couple hours! this could be the last one so i will enjoy every minute of it.
