I found this image on one of the many Facebook pages of bookshops I follow. I have never been much of a scientist and my knowledge of chemistry is basic at best, but found this fascinating. As even though I am not a scientist, even an amateur one, I am very much a bookworm. Which means that I don't only read books, but I have smelled them. Reading is an experience that touches more than one sense. I think I will spend some time in the near future just smelling the books I have and the books I buy, old and new.
I got into sniffing books when I was a teenager, man. Then things got hardcore, my life went out of control and now I'm in BSA -- Book Sniffers Anonymous.
