The Fitbit's battery

I love my Fitbit, I find it sleek, elegant, useful even though I don't use it at full capacity. But I wonder if I did not buy a glorified watch. Fact of the matter is, I was told and read that the battery would only need recharging every five days. Well, I quickly found out that it is more like every other day, if not less. As a matter of fact, I need to recharge it now.
