Cat smuggling
As we are both in the process of buying a house and our landlord of selling the flat where we live. Which means visitors, which also means... hiding Domino. Because we do not have the right to own cats in the flat. I know, I know we should not have had a cat in the first place, but that is what happens when you are cat lovers. We had to smuggle him out and back three times all in all so far. The first two he was out of the house for the whole night, at the Tickler's place actually. The first night, he was an angel. The second night, he was impossible and kept the whole household awake. So difficult in fact that for the third time, which was yesterday, they agreed to take him but only for the day. Thankfully, we had plenty of time to take him out and decatify the place before the visitors arrived. I feel a bit bad about it, but Domino seems to enjoy the change of scenery. When he comes home, he is relaxed and rather affectionate. Well, as affectionate as he can be.
Oh, it's all very cloak and dagger-ish, isn't it? Good luck with keeping Domino's true residence secret!
ReplyDeleteHaha ! Poor Domino ! What could the landlord do now that you are going away ?
