These days it has been much warmer than the weeks before, enough for me to start doubting what I had said in my post last month about the signs ofcoming autumn. Then yesterday, by one of the train stations of my commute, I saw this. As I had enough time (trains were running late), I took a picture. it could be due to a drought, but somehow I don't think so. It looks far more like a seasonal change of colour. It is true that this particular tree is early every year. I had noticed the same change of colours at the same time last year. Still, it is nice to see it as a reminder of things to come.

THE sure sign of coming autumn
