I blogged about a month ago (in fact almost a month ago) about an item of the menu of Fat Lemons in Totnes, which was my big gastronomical revelation during our holidays there. Well, okay maybe not, I had others, but it was one I did not expect to love so much. It occurred to me today that I had forgotten to promote the menu of a restaurant or a pub this past weekend, like I try to do, so I thought I would do it today, to cheer my readership up on a probably dreary Monday. Ironically enough and be warned now: Fat Lemons is only opened a few hours on Monday.I had this omelette, made with North Devon organic cheddar and free range eggs on our second visit there. It was too late for breakfast, but I hadn't eaten so I had this as a brunch. It was one of the best omelette I ever had, in fact far better than the omelette I ate in Paris earlier on this year. This is THE thing I love about Fat Lemons: they do so well the simplest dish.
