Bagel treat

This is the picture of my last supper in Montreal. I thought I'd show it to the readers. The bagel was purchased in St-Viateur Bagel and was fresh. You know the recipe: soft cheese, smoked salmon, a slice of tomato, red onion, capers and a dash of lemon juice. This is comfort food at its best,this is also maybe the best bagel in the world (seriously). I have a cousin who brings a bag of Montreal bagels every time he is abroad and offers them to his expat friends. During my years at university, I survived starvation by eating bagels from St-Viateur on Mont-Royal.
