Frankenstein's Mother

Today is a benchmark in my countdown to the official countdown to Halloween. It is the birthday of Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein. One of my favourite horror classics and one of the very first I read, some forty odd years ago. You can read my "review" (more like a praise) of the novel in this post. And on my birthday this year, my wife bought me this illustrated edition of Frankenstein, with 3D images and interactive elements. I might give it a try today, although I have a substantial TBR list to go through. It's a gorgeous edition, in any case. But whatever version you have at hand, even if it's just an abridged edition, or a comic book adaptation, I suggest you read it today.
