Bonfire in the neighbours' garden

Yesterday night, our new neighbours (I giess we are more the new neighbours here, but nevermind) were making a bonfire in their back garden. It was just cool enough for it and it looked lovely. We let the window of the bedroom open to hear the sound of the wood cracking under the heat and smell the smoke. There is not many things I find more soothing than this, it is so calming. I almost forgot that I should wonder if it was not a firing hazard, but I checked earlier this morning from the window (not prying or anything, just being careful) and they do have a proper fireplace. So we will be able to enjoy our neighbours' fire without fear. Nice to know.
