Being 38
It is my birthday today, I am 38. Ouch! In two years time, I will be 40. The thirties are going sharp and fast. I still remember when I turned 30, it feels like yesterday. But I shouldn't complain: for my mother, this birthday and my age comes even more like a shock. She told me yesterday: "Sometimes it feels like you were going to turn 8 only yesterday." I said: "This yesterday was 30 years ago." A fatalist line, but a great unknown line nevertheless. I will look at it at the bright side: I still have two years of relative youth to live and I am being spoiled today.

Happy 38th Birthday, our only child a lovely young lady will turn 38 on Nov. 3 this year, I can remember her 3rd birthday and she was just so dadblasted cute in her strawberry shortcake dress and popbeads from my friend, she never took them off and Kathy just gave them to her, she looked like strawberry shortcake except she had white white hair, big blue eyes, everyone came to her party, she was the youngest in the whole neighborhood and all the kids adored her! She still has white hair, big blue eyes and wears necklaces and adorable clothing, tiny and tall. She reaches your age soon, and I cannot believe it, she always liked me her Momma and Daddy to hold her and read to her she read very early, a smarty pants no less, she did not get to go to school at 5 cause her birthday was past august 31st and would cry so we put her in a private school and she learned to read about 4 years old, she skipped a lot of grades being a smarty pants but always the tiniest and littlest but big on character and class..You should be so happy you are only 38 I will turn 67 soon and my hubs 68 he was 30 when she was born our only, she lives in NYC and travel near us often so we get to see her, she will always be in my mind my little 3 year old girl who was so excited for her 3rd birthday, she was so very happy she slept in her strawberry shortcake dress and popbeads and tiara, my cousin made it for her, the princess she was called her name means that in Hebrew, enjoy your day and year it is wonderful, happy happy happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
